The Senior Finance Business Partner will provide financial expertise and support to key stakeholders, ensuring effective decision-making and financial planning. This role in this large corporate organisation strong analytical skills and the ability to influence financial strategy within the organisation.

My client is a large Corporate organisation based in commuting distance from Cardiff. They are well-established and going through a period of change.

Description

This is an initial 3 - 4 month temporary cover role whilst a Permanent Senior FBP is recruited to the team.

The role will report to the Head of Finance and will have 5 members of staff directly reporting to you.

The role is responsible for managing the budgets of the Corporate Services including Finance, People and Culture, IT, Marketing, Communications. The role will also look after specific IT Projects as well.

The role will include;

• Develop and monitor financial plans, create bottom up budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
• Prepare and present insightful financial reports to stakeholders.
• Business partner with Stakeholders and challenge forecasts and in month spend.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
• review and develop business cases where appropriate
• Support organisational change by providing robust financial analysis.
• Manage and develop finance staff.

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Business Partner should have:

• Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in Financial Business Partnering.
• Good people leadership experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver actionable insights through data analysis.
• Proficiency in financial systems and software tools.

• Competitive day rate ranging from £300 to £400 per day.
