Edwin Education welcomes overseas-trained Secondary teachers to apply for an Art and Design Technology Teacher position at a school based in Hillingdon, UK for an April 2023 start.

Working in this Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school (Ofsted is the UK's governing body for standards in education), you will teach Art & DT to pupils across Years 7 to 9. The school is located in the borough of Hillingdon, which is the second largest borough in London. Home of Heathrow Airport and great transport links, the borough is also full of beautiful countryside, rivers, canals, parks and woodlands.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary Art & Design Technology Teacher you will have:

  • Experience of working with secondary school aged children
  • A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team and flexible approach to support this schools requirements
  • Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
