Job Description:

  • Factory model P&A design and execution.
  • Knowledge of sustained casing pressure and technologies to drive safe, consistent and high performance operations is desired.
  • Well-rounded in engineering, design and well construction and versed in efficient plugging techniques and innovations to drive down costs.
  • Capable of analyzing and solving complex well problems and capability in performance management (tech limits, benchmarking, lookbacks, standardization and continuous improvement).
  • Ability to effectively represent the ARO and workover team in multi-functional teams (communication & presentation skills).
  • Must have strong written communication & excellent organizational skills.
  • Influencing skills with cross functional members and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build team consensus and to work effectively and collaboratively in multi-discipline environment.
  • Able to interact effectively with Asset Development Team, Govt Officials, and business partners.
  • Requires coordination and communication with key internal stakeholders and collaboration with external partners, including regulatory bodies and external operators.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through plugging designs, and to meet plug deadlines as assigned by the regulatory body, and to deliver the offset well requirements for BU frac activity (both COOP and Non-Operated)
  • Responsible for frac-into events and ensuring that all efforts are executed safely and communicated to the regulatory body, where required
  • Provides engineering design, planning, and project schedules for various types of projects related to asset retirement activities in the DJ Basin, including P&A's, Wellbore Integrity / Mitigation, MIT, and other activities.
  • Coordinates with the project teams to develop team schedules coverage schedules and multiple contractors.
  • Monitors and forecasts progress of activities and highlights problem areas and recommend remedial actions.
  • Evaluates critical paths in the project schedules and evaluate alternative schedule options to identify optimum project strategies or resolve problems before and during execution.
  • Develops and implements plan versus actual progress curves.
  • Reports and analyses monthly deviations from plan.
  • Evaluates allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress.
  • Liaises with all team leaders to communicate required completion dates and interfaces between responsible parties.
  • Works closely with cost engineer and accountant for expenditure and value of work forecasting. Prepares and issues updated project schedules.
  • Works closely with Cost Control for expenditure forecasting and progress.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS preferred or equivalent experience 5-7 years.
