Senior Development Engineer - Test rig design
Salary: £60k-£70k
Location: Cambridgeshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands on Development Engineer to join an innovative product development company. You will lead the design and development of bespoke test rigs for advanced electro-mechanical systems.

In this hands-on role, you will play a pivotal part in creating robust and reliable testing environments to ensure the performance, safety, and quality of complex engineering products. You will be involved in the full lifecycle - from design and assembly through to testing and transition into manufacturing.

Main Duties:
+ Create bespoke test environments
+ Perform hands-on testing and experimental work
+ Electro-mechanical device assembly and testing
+ Lead design verification and reliability testing
+ Facilitate transfer to manufacture

Skills & Experience:
+ Design & build bespoke test rigs
+ Previous experience testing electro-mechanical products
+ Robust technical analysis and documentation skills
+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly
+ Proven experience in reliability testing methodologies
+ Develop test scripts
