We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager on behalf of our client based in West Drayton. Our client has numerous homes throughout the UK caring for thousands of residents. The successful candidate will act as Deputy Manager must have previous senior or deputy experience as well as be Nurse qualified. You must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and management within the care industry. You will work within a care home specialising in general & dementia nursing in addition to residential and respite care for the elderly. You will be responsible for assisting with the management of staff, resources and will promote best practices in all aspects of your role.

Job Role

As Deputy Home Manager, you will :-

Engage with service users
Work within the Senior Management team
Assist with the responsibility for all clinical services, ensuring excellent standards of nursing care are provided.
Promote ownership of care programs and converse with service users and their families
Ensure that patients receive a high-quality service
Have a proven track record of successfully marketing a home
Effectively manage staff and resources



Experience & Key Skills Required:
Our Registered Home Manager will :-

Previous nursing experience
Active NMC Pin
Have experience in a senior managerial position
Have completed experience in HR and staff management duties such as interviewing and appraising/performance management
Have a strong working knowledge of relevant codes of conduct and guidelines, The Care Standards Act and CQC requirements
Have a good understanding of Quality Assurance tools
Be financially aware with good budget management skills
