Assembly Operator roles available for a reputable manufacturer in Telford offering straight permanent roles, competitive salary, holiday, pension and income protection.

You will have production experience and be able to follow SOP's to carry out electrical assembly in a busy environment working with a friendly and inclusive team.

As assembly operative you will carry out the following duties:

Ensure that products are assembled to the required standards as specified in the relevant standard working procedure.
Ensure production targets are met and units assembled to the quality standard required
Tighten all electrical connections as specified in the SOP
Carry out continuity tests as specified in the standard working procedure
Stack all completed work neatly in the designated areas as instructed
Ensure all company kanban procedures are adhered to
Complete production sheets and forward to the Cell Leaders
Ensure that all relevant maintenance checks are carried out in accordance with the equipment suppliers pre-defined standards

Experience required to carry out the role of assembly operative includes:

Lean manufacture (5S) would be an advantage
Ability to follow SOP's and assembly images
Good eye for detail to support quality
Previous electrical or mechanical assembly essential
