Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. They would prefer someone with an Electrical bias if possible, with experience in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.

They are looking for a M&E Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to start ASAP.

LOCATION - Swadlincote

Shift Pattern: Twilight shift pattern - Days and Nights on rotation - 12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off.

Salary depending on experience, between £38,500 - £40,400 (includes the shift allowance)

Your duties as an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Completing of both Electrical and Mechanical (M&E) breakdown repairs
• Scheduled PPM of plant and equipment
• Fault diagnoses and repair
• DC & AC drives, motors and gearboxes
• PLC fault finding
• Pneumatic/Hydraulic repairs
• Safe isolation and safe working
• Electrical / mechanical installation

Candidate Requirements:

• Fully Apprentice trained, or timed served Engineer
• HNC / NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Desirable)
• Experience in a Factory / Manufacturing environment
• Autonomous and team working
• Understanding and able to read technical engineering drawings
• Excellent communication skills
