Remedy Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Newham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to play a key role in helping them achieve their full potential. You'll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning, behaviour, and wellbeing across the classroom.

The role:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities

Work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils with additional learning needs

Help to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Encourage children's confidence, motivation, and participation in learning

Provide emotional and social support to pupils when needed

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working in a school or with children

Be patient, proactive, and adaptable to different classroom settings

Have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education

Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate

Be available for a full-time, long-term position
