Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Testing & Inspection)

Location: Whitechapel, London
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a fully qualified Electrical Engineer with a strong background in testing and inspection to join our growing team based in Whitechapel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship across a range of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations (BS 7671)

* Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

* Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works

* Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and company procedures

* Maintain accurate documentation and certification for all completed works

* Inspect and test electrical installations in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial settings

* Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions

* Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams professionally

* Support installation and maintenance teams when required

Requirements

* Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

* City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Testing & Inspection

* Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Full UK driving licence (preferred)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication and organisational skills
