We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in private equity-backed businesses, integration execution, and transformation leadership to undertake a full turnaround project. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking finance leader with hands-on experience navigating complex M&A environments, driving value creation, and building finance functions that support aggressive growth targets.
The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Investment Director, owning the financial vision and operational alignment necessary for rapid scaling, margin improvement, and successful integration of acquired entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and trusted advisor to ID.
- Lead the financial strategy for post-acquisition integration and long-term value creation.
- Build and optimize scalable finance infrastructure, processes, and systems to support transformation initiatives.
- Develop and execute business plans, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Integration & Operational Excellence
- Lead integration planning and execution for mergers or acquisitions, including financial systems, reporting, KPIs, and culture alignment.
- Establish and track synergy realization and integration milestones.
- Drive operational efficiency and working capital optimization across all business units.
Financial Management & Controls
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, FP&A, treasury, audit, tax, and risk management.
- Establish robust financial controls and reporting standards in line with PE and board expectations.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages, and deliver actionable insights to the board and executive team.
Growth Enablement
- Identify and assess strategic growth opportunities including organic expansion, pricing strategies, and inorganic M&A targets.
- Support due diligence and financial modeling for tuck-in acquisitions and strategic investments.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor and accelerate growth trajectories.
Qualifications:
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with recent CFO Transformation projects in private equity-backed companies.
- Proven success in leading financial transformation, M&A integration, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Deep understanding of PE value creation levers, deal structures, and exit readiness.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Experience with ERP implementations, BI tools, and building scalable systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management capabilities.
