RedT Homes is a growing real estate firm that owns development, brokerage, and property management companies. We work in urban infill of all types, from townhomes and condos to mixed-use commercial projects. Our firm is made up of extremely talented individuals who have all helped the company grow at a rapid rate. As we continue to expand, we are looking to add a Property Acquisition Manager to our development team.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a dedicated and driven individual to help grow our Denver territory. This is a true sales-oriented position wherein your success above the base salary depends on your ability to find deals and foster relationships. This is not a fend-for-yourself role however. You will have a full team to support your efforts including: a full time analyst, an acquisitions admin, and the department director all working in concert to help you succeed.
What you’ll do:
As the Property Acquisitions Manager, the bulk of your efforts will be spent collaborating with the team identifying/analyzing potential development projects and then vigorously tracking down the current property owners to discuss the opportunity of selling. Establishing relationships early and consistent follow up are imperative as timing is everything and will be a huge key to your success. Once a motivated seller has been identified you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Acquisitions Director and the CEO to coordinate the transaction.
There are a multitude of strategies that we’ve created over the years which we will teach you so you won’t be reinventing the wheel, BUT we will lean on you to discover new avenues to find future business.
This is an amazing and unique opportunity for the right person looking to establish and grow a career in Real Estate Development. You will work closely with other departments and will have opportunity to witness the full Development process – from analysis and negotiations on the front end to a final constructed product. Our company has doubled in the last several years and the plan is to continue the growth for years to come.
This position will have a base salary of $50k, and revenue projections for our next year indicate that the positions will see commission bonuses between 30k (our minimum expected revenue) and 70k (though the bonuses are uncapped).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success. Preference will be given to those with a Colorado real estate Broker’s license, but proven sales records will qualify any candidates. Above all we need to see/know that you’ll be able to stay committed to the process and prove that you can find and acquire properties. You will obviously need to be proficient in the standard business suite software programs (MS Office, Adobe, a CRM, etc.). Tracking down owners can provide an interesting challenge at times so a deep understanding of and ability to utilize refined problem solving for internet research is a must.
