We are looking to appoint a reliable, confident and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a dedicated team at a vibrant school. This is a vital role supporting continuity of learning when teaching staff are absent, helping to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. For September 2025.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task

Manage behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and behaviour

Support students with their learning as appropriate

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable

Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.

Calm, resilient, and adaptable with a positive attitude

Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline
