Temporary Buyer (Cardiff) – £17–£18 per hour

We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team on a temporary basis. You’ll support end-to-end purchasing activity, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and issue RFQs
• Raise and expedite purchase orders
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve supply issues
• Monitor spend, support cost-saving initiatives, and maintain accurate records
• Forecast demand to maintain stock levels

About You

• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing or similar environments
• Analytical mindset and good financial awareness
