Long Term Futures is proud to be partnering with a number of forward-thinking secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions across Nottingham, as we prepare for the new academic year (September 2025).

We're on the lookout for committed and proactive Behaviour Mentors who are ready to step into schools and support young people in overcoming behavioural, social and emotional challenges. You will be helping students to re-engage with education and fulfil their potential.

Every role is based in a single school, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to become a valued member of staff, with a clear path to permanent employment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis to manage behaviour in a constructive way
Implementing personalised strategies that encourage positive choices and engagement
Working collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions
Building meaningful relationships that are built on consistency, respect and trust
Helping pupils develop key life and social skills in and outside the classroom
Keeping track of progress and outcomes for the students you're supportingWho We're Looking For:

Experience working with young people in education, youth work, coaching, mentoring or community support
Previous experience in supporting children or young people with special educational needs or behaviour difficulties
A calm, empathetic and resilient nature - able to de-escalate challenging situations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one before September)Why Join Long Term Futures?
