Salary: £26,904 to £43,110 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lectures to further education students.
• Develop and update curriculum and course materials in line with current educational standards and innovations. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and professional development sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and overall student learning experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred but can offer support to complete teaching qualification.
• Experience in teaching Chemistry at further education level is highly desirable.
• Strong passion for Chemistry and education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Creative and innovative approach to teaching.
