Position SummaryI am seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage and support both on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Windows Server administration, Microsoft SQL Server, and firewall security (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall). Experience with Azure cloud services is essential, while knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux is desirable. The role requires a proactive professional to maintain system reliability, security, and performance while supporting business operations and driving improvements.
Key Responsibilities:Windows Server & Network Administration

Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).

Configure and support IIS for web applications and Remote Desktop (RDP).

Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, Users, and Computer accounts.

Manage network printers, shared folders, and system permissions.
Database & Application Support
Network Security & Firewalls
-
Configure and monitor Fortinet and SonicWall firewalls.
-
Implement VPN, NAT, and firewall security policies.
-
Monitor and maintain network security and address vulnerabilities.
Cloud & Virtualization (Desirable Skills)
-
Migrate on-premise domains, servers, and workloads to Microsoft Azure.

Manage Azure infrastructure: VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, AKS.

Implement secure hybrid connectivity (VPN, site-to-site).
-
Set up identity federation, SSO, and conditional access in Azure Entra ID.
-
Monitor hybrid environments combining on-premise AD and Azure Entra ID.
IT Support & Maintenance

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Implement backup, disaster recovery, and system monitoring solutions.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for IT enhancement.
Skills Required:Windows OS Administration

Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).

Firewalls & Network Security

Personal Attributes

Minimum 2 years' experience with Windows Server, IIS, and AD.
