The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Controller to join a leading steel supplier based in Bilston. This role is pivotal in managing our bespoke production software, analyzing supply chain processes, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication between suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management: Utilize our bespoke production software to schedule and monitor manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery of products.

Supply Chain Analysis: Identify and analyze disruptions or inefficiencies within the supply chain, implementing effective solutions to maintain optimal operations.

Stakeholder Communication: Liaise closely with suppliers to coordinate raw material availability and with customers to provide updates on order status and delivery timelines.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the company's high-quality standards, collaborating with the quality control team to address any issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing research, development, and testing initiatives to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in a production control or similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in steel or construction materials.
