Job Title: Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE

A reputable client of ours is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a flexible position with the potential to be either part-time or full-time, depending on the successful candidate’s availability and experience.
The role would suit someone who has ideally worked within a practice environment. You will need a strong working knowledge of Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handling day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Processing VAT returns and maintaining accurate records
• Reconciling bank statements and managing client ledgers
• Liaising with clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
• Working within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
• Solid bookkeeping and management accounting experience
• Proficiency in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
• Ideally has experience within an accountancy practice (not essential if varied experience)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Capable of managing workload independently under time pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Package:
• Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
