The Marriott Central Application Services Agent provides support to hotel associates for Kronos, ID Management, Concept, Opera PMS, Opera Sales & Catering and Simphony.

LOCATION

  • Based at Cedar House, Shared Service Centre with travel to hotels as required.

Experience

  • Systems Helpdesk experience

  • Customer Care skills

  • 3 years IT experience

&

&

Skills & Knowledge

&

Technical Skills/Computer:

&

  • Microsoft Active Directory

  • An Awareness of WAN/LAN & VPN technologies

  • Windows 10

  • Kronos

  • Concept

  • Opera PMS + Sales & Catering

  • Simphony

  • Marriott SSO (Single Sign On) Authentication

  • Oracle Hosted Environment Architecture

  • Oracle Shared Security Domain (SSD)

Technical Skills/Other:

  • Knowledge of IT operating standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical managers.

  • Hosted Application Upgrade Testing and Co-Ordination

RESPONSIBILITIES

&

  • End to End Application ID request process. From users requesting ID's, managing Marriott request centre entries and central application ID's setup through to communication back to users/line managers with details. End 2 End ID process to include Adds/Deletes/Moves

  • Hosted Application Upgrade Testing and Co-Ordination

  • Procurement of Hosted Application Security Certificates

  • Management of related Application User Accounts and Passwords (App Accounts)

  • Hosted Application Maintenance Notifications, scheduling and execution

  • MarCAS Configuration Tasks for Opera PMS (Property Management System), Sales + Catering and Simphony.

  • Implement Microsoft Active Directory changes to support Opera ID Management

  • All calls to be logged and reported on using Service Now

  • Trend analysis of reported issues.

  • Proactively working to identify route cause and elimination of repeat issues.

  • Hotel based associates

  • GFS (Global Field Sales) Multi Property Systems Managers and On Property Systems Managers

  • Corporate Information Resources (GFS, Shared Services, Application Services etc.)

  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
