Resourcing Group is working in partnership with a maintenance contractor, offering a great reputation. They specialise in providing exceptional maintenance services for to their end clients which mostly consist of public sector landlords, including Housing Associations. Their commitment to excel, grow, offering an innovative solution has seen them organically win and expand up on some great contracts in the local Bristol and surrounding areas. As they continue to expand and take on new projects, we are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their existing team.

This is a permanent role, being offered to join their local office based in Bristol.

Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor with our company, you will be responsible for:

Conducting cost analysis and preparing estimates for maintenance projects within the Hard Facilities Management sector.
Managing and negotiating contracts, ensuring that they comply with company policies and regulations.
Collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Tracking project expenses, monitoring budgets, and providing regular financial reports.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing cost control measures.
Evaluating and valuing variations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
Assessing subcontractor payments and claims.
Maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project life cycle.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on Hard Facilities Management Maintenance contracts.
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying.
An organised and proactive approach to work, meeting deadlines efficiently.
