SEN Learning Support Assistant - Year 4

Are you a compassionate, patient and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for an experienced LSA to support pupils with additional learning needs in Dagenham.

About the Role:
We are seeking an SEN LSA to work closely with pupils who require extra support with their learning, social development and emotional regulation. You will be working both 1:1 and in small groups, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs

*

Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans

*

Support pupils with communication, engagement and behaviour

*

Help create a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment

*

Liaise with teaching staff, SENCO and wider support teams as needed

Requirements:

*

Previous experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH or similar)

*

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

*

A proactive, calm and patient approach

*

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
