Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming Primary School in Fleetwood, starting after May half term.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), helping them to access learning, develop social skills and feel supported within the classroom environment.

• 1:1 SEN support for a child with ASC in Year 1
• Supporting learning, communication and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
• Providing consistency, reassurance and positive behaviour support
• Full-time, term-time position

• Experience working with children with ASC or SEN, ideally in a primary setting
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Relevant qualifications or training (desired but not essential)
