Electrical Design Engineer - £52k - Bedford

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leader special purpose machinery manufacturer. They are lookng to take on an electrical design engineer to help with the design of complex control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design sophisticated control systems (variable speed drives, PLCs,.).

*

Create schematic drawings and bills of materials.

*

Develop test plans and ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.

*

Support projects to meet tight deadlines and budgets.

Required Skills & Experience:

*

Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

*

Strong understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and symbols.

*

Familiarity with EN60204 and EN13849.

*

Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
