We're looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of E&I projects within industry, electrical building services and renewable energy projects including lighting, power distribution, fire and security systems, solar PV, EV charging, battery storage, and heat pump integration.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for electrical works, including renewable technologies

· Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to prepare take-offs and pricing

· Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain up-to-date prices and technical information

· Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure coordinated M&E solutions

· Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required

· Evaluate subcontractor quotes and manage procurement for electrical packages

· Keep up to date with industry developments, building regulations, and sustainability standards (e.g. Part L, CIBSE, SAP, IET Wiring Regs)

· Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and value engineering exercises

Requirements

· Role would suit a graduate engineer or someone wanting to make the switch from site to office-based role.

· Good knowledge of UK electrical standards, including BS 7671 (Wiring Regs)
