Our client, Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Social Worker for its Adoption team.

Details of the role:

• Experienced children's social worker required for the Adoption service.
• Children's social workers work alongside FAST colleagues to twin track cases that have a possibility of a plan of adoption.
• The role involves the writing of Child Permanence Reports and Placement Order reports for the scrutiny of the Agency Decision Maker and the court.
• The role also involves the support of children in care who have a plan of adoption.
• This includes completing statutory visits and reviews, family finding and matching children with their adoptive families and supporting them through to an adoption order being made.
• The role also involves the completion of lifestory books and later in life letter and working alongside birth family members.
• Children can be placed out of county, both within the Family adoption links region and further afield, so involves travel.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must have significant experience in children’s social care
• Must have experience of adoption/permanence and the duties laid out above
