Location: Stourport
Pay Rate: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join our Assembly team in Stourport. This role involves manufacturing and assembling components to precise standards, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture and assemble components in line with technical drawings, customer requirements, and SOPs
Notify the Assembly Section Leader of any defective tooling, jigs, fixtures, or production issues
Inspect, identify, and package finished products
Follow all responsibilities outlined in the Quality Control Manual and BS EN ISO 9001:2000 procedures
Comply with all Health & Safety policies
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Support other departments when required
Adhere to all relevant ISO processes and company policies
Carry out any additional ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

Experience using hand and power tools
Ability to read technical drawings (training can be provided)
Strong attention to detail
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Ability to maintain an organised and tidy workspace
