Desian Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming primary school located in Birkenhead to find an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with additional learning needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one support, helping a child access learning and build confidence.

This is a full -time role supporting 8.30am-3.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 classroom support for a KS2 pupil with additional needs

* Implement tailored learning strategies under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo

* Support emotional regulation and social interaction

* Maintain a positive, patient, and nurturing approach at all times

Requirements:

* Experience working with children in an educational or support role (1:1 or SEND experience preferred)

* Understanding of the KS2 curriculum and inclusive practices

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* A calm, proactive, and flexible attitude

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
