Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a growing organisation who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Maintaining supplier and customer accounts
- Responding to queries and maintaining relationships
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes
- Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control
- Performing daily cash and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end processes including accruals and prepayments
- Improving function processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in financial accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great attention to detail
