Production Manager

Alexander Steele is recruiting a Production Manager to join a fast-growing food manufacturing business based in West London. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach in problem-solving to address production issues and have a continuous improvement mindset. You will aim to produce products of the highest quality by ensuring that all quality and food safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the production floor during your designated shift.

* Oversee the safe, efficient & effective operation of the production area in accordance with schedules and agreed targets

* Manage and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation.

* Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime and wastage.

* Adhere to and enforce all safety and regulatory guidelines to create a safe working environment for all employees.

Background Experience:

* 5+ years' experience within a manufacturing environment ideally within ambient products

* IOSH qualified

* Knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP requirements

* Strong track record of people management and development

* Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels
