We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a major National Grid substation construction project in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure build, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supervise daily site operations and ensure compliance with National Grid standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to maintain timelines and quality.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and manage site documentation.
• Lead toolbox talks and ensure all personnel adhere to site rules and procedures.
• Liaise with stakeholders and report progress regularly.

• NSI 6 & NSI 8 Competent Person Authorisation
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• First Aid Certification
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• HSG47 - Avoiding Danger from Underground Services
• Full training and authorisations required for SR163 nomination

• Proven experience supervising substation builds or similar high-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of National Grid procedures and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

• Duration: Minimum 6 months, with potential for extension.
• Rate: £450/day (paid via CIS or Umbrella).
• Location: Oxford - site-based role.
