Job Description

The ideal and most qualified Business Development Specialist will thrive in seeing projects to completion, is highly organized, and is a team player that is goal oriented. The ideal candidate has experience managing day-to-day client programs across multiple disciplines; writing first-draft plans and strategies; holding day-to-day client interactions, and possesses a customer-focused approach.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1-2 years experience working on telephone prospecting, or inside sales for a technology company

  • Strong writing skills are a must

  • Previous excellent research and time-management skills

  • The must be comfortable working in teams and independently

  • Must be a solid team player and capable and reliable teammate

  • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills

  • Provide client service support: attend meetings, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems and draft recaps.

  • Have a resilient can do attitude and can find the fun in a day of cold calls

  • Excellent phone skills

  • Self-starter

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce), web design, SEO, and the use of social advertising in platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Basic understanding of Wordpress and Google Adwords.

  • Knowledge of effective SEO techniques.

  • A positive can-do attitude with a commitment to learn and grow.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive engagement and build rapport with(prospective) clients.

  • Manage a pipeline of leads and log call details.

  • Ensure seamless handoff to the appropriate team.

  • Interacts daily with prospects and active clientele both in person and over the phone, communicating effectively to determine their digital needs and ensuring the highest level of customer service.

  • Grow current market share by prospecting for new business in assigned territory. Cold call and in-person sales.

  • Must have knowledge of digital products and able to discuss with ease.

  • Build proposals for businesses from smallest campaigns to the most complex.

  • Process client orders and requests.

  • Meet monthly sales goals.
