Quantity Surveyor - Planned MaintenanceNorth East London- Hybrid Salary £50,000- £55,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Package

We are working with a leading Social Housing / Property Services Contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North East London to help deliver projects. You will be acting as the main contractor working alongside Housing Associations and Local Authorities. The works will consist of planned maintenance both internal and external works.

You will take responsibility, ownership, and accountability of the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the works to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract, and manage all day to day commercial issues.

Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities:

• Managing subcontractor packages
• Subcontractor negotiation
• Cost value reconciliation
• Producing cost reports
• Subcontractor payments/processing applications for payments
• Valuations
• Variations
• Final accounts

Quantity Surveyor Essential experience:

• Degree or other technical qualification
• Strong commercial awareness
• Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor
• Experience delivering planned maintenance works
