POST TITLE: Nursery Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to work within our dedicated, passionate and supportive team.

Starting Salary: £45,000- £50,000pa +

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Minimum of Level 3 in Early Childhood Education Or BA in Early Years Education from UK or Overseas University.

* Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a nursery or early childhood education setting.

* Knowledge of and adherence to Ofsted requirements for childcare facilities.

* Strong leadership and organisational skills.

* Passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership and Management:

* Provide strong leadership to the nursery team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

* Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.

* Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and ongoing professional development for the nursery team.

* Curriculum Development:

* Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early years learning frameworks.

* Foster creativity, independence, and a love for learning among the children.

* Regularly review and update curriculum materials to meet evolving educational standards.

* Child Welfare and Safety:

* Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the nursery.

* Oversee the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.

* Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.

* Parent and Community Engagement:

* Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.

* Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences, workshops, and events.

* Collaborate with the local community to enhance the nursery's offerings and visibility.

* Financial Management:

* Manage the nursery's budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.

* Monitor enrolment and implement strategies for growth and sustainability.
