Pay: £16.00 per hour
- MONDAYS: 08:45 - 16:30
- TUESDAYS: 08:45 - 16:30
- WEDNESDAYS: 08:45 - 12:30
- FRIDAYS: 08:45 - 16:30
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) access learning and thrive in an inclusive environment.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement learning plans and provide tailored support for academic, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND.
- Assist with EHCPs, Individual Learning Plans, and Behaviour Management strategies.
- Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and contribute to student reviews.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (desirable)
- Level 2 or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting students in an FE environment (desirable)
