Overview
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver for a Permanent role based in Poole. The position involves transporting goods safely between multiple local sites, including Poole, Tower Park, and Portland. This role is ideal for a reliable, safety‑focused driver with strong ADR experience and excellent route awareness within Dorset.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 1 HGV in accordance with company policies and UK driving regulations.
Transport ADR‑classified materials between sites in Poole, Tower Park, and Portland.
Complete daily inspection checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy at all times.
Load and unload materials following ADR safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records, delivery notes, and tachograph data.
Follow site procedures for arrival, loading, unloading, and communication.
Ensure full compliance with ADR regulations, including correct handling, securing, and documentation of hazardous goods.
Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly to the transport team.
Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
ADR certification (including relevant classes for materials handled)
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Strong awareness of safe driving practices and ADR compliance
Experience transporting hazardous goods (preferred)
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Reliability and punctuality essential
