EC&I Technician

Location: Sunderland

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00

Salary: £38,000 basic with a performance based quarterly bonus

Working for a global organisation, you will be joining a passionate team with an opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

What you will be doing:

* Daily work to standards using CMMS job sheets for routine maintenance, calibration and testing of the site equipment.

* Installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and instrumentation

* Ensure that all equipment defects and alarms are reported and that they are appropriately handled ensuring unsafe all items are suitably isolated and communicated

* Assist in planning and preparation of plant maintenance for shutdown periods

* Ensuring electrical maintenance and construction schedules are managed, Assist E&I Supervisor in all aspects of his work and deputise as required in his absence

What you will bring to the team:

* Experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

* A range of electrical and instrumentation knowledge

* Experienced for both trouble shooting and installation work.

* Qualifications in hazardous area working (CompEx)

* Wiring regulations (18th edition)

* Knowledge of working within top tier CoMAH regulations

* A range of experience from various types of single term controllers to software packages or PLC logic would be an advantage but not essential
