We're looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to join our warm and welcoming Oakfield service in Cardiff, supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional or mental health needs.

What You'll Do as a Care Assistant
In this rewarding Care Assistant role, you will:

* Promote emotional, physical and social wellbeing through consistent, caring support

* Build strong, trusting relationships so every child feels safe and understood

* Provide personal care where required, always with dignity and respect

* Encourage independence and support the development of social and life skills

* Support education, home activities and community engagement

* Maintain accurate records and reports

* Help with everyday household tasks including cooking, cleaning and meal preparation

What We're Looking For in a Care Assistant

You don't need previous care experience — we're looking for the right values. A great Care Assistant will have:

* A caring, patient and resilient approach

* Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

* Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends on a rota

* A full UK driving licence (essential)

* A willingness to learn — full training is provided

This Care Assistant role involves regulated activity with children and requires an Enhanced DBS with children's barred list check.
