Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Clitheroe

Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Term Time Only

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Clitheroe. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing and vibrant school environment.

About the Role

• Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the school.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them achieve their potential.
• Support children’s social and emotional development, promoting a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional experience of working with children is essential.
• Relevant qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent) are desirable.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
