About the RoleWe are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to support our client in Accrington on an ad hoc basis. This role involves general haulage work, ideal for drivers seeking flexibility and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities- Complete general haulage runs across the UK.
- Ensure all loads are secure and comply with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with the transport team.
- Follow Working Time Directive and EU Drivers' Hours Regulations.
Shift Details- Start Time: Typically between 07:00 - 08:00 (confirmed before each shift).
- Work Type: General haulage - curtain-sided trailers, no handball.
- Duration: Ad hoc shifts - work offered as needed.
- Pay: £15.50 per hour (weekly pay).
Requirements- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
