Architectural Technician

Location: Southampton

Salary: £28-35,000

A forward-thinking, design-focused architectural practice is seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join their growing team in Southampton. The studio has built a strong reputation for delivering successful projects in collaboration with leading national house builders and continues to maintain a healthy pipeline of residential developments. The role of Architectural Technician will involve:

* Producing accurate and detailed technical drawings for large-scale residential developments* Collaborating closely with architects, planners, consultants and clients to ensure design intent is achieved alongside regulatory compliance* Ensuring all work aligns with UK Building Regulations and NHBC Standards* Providing guidance and support to junior members of the technical team* Attending client and project meetings and contributing effectively to discussions

The successful Architectural Technician will have:

* A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related subject* Demonstrable experience working with UK national house builders* Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD* Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards* Ability to independently manage workload across multiple live projects* Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
