PETA are proud to be working in partnership with Partnering Health to recruit and train two IT Support Apprentices. These roles are based in the Partnering Health Whiteley Office with the requirement for occasional travel to Cosham.

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level three ICT Support Technician apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 22 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from the Partnering Health team combined with 25 days of off the job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.

About the role

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will take on a varied and exciting role where no two days are the same. Closely supported by the Partnering Health team, you will learn how to:
Provide 1st to 2nd line technical support to end users
Troubleshoot and repair any hardware and software
Resolve software and application issues
Complete documentation and quick step deployment guides
Provide appropriate support to staff using new technologiesCould this be the ideal role for me?
As our ideal IT Support Apprentice, you do not need any IT work experience. What you will need is a keen interest in IT and an eagerness to learn new skills. You will also require the following skills and qualifications:
Good technical understanding of IT
Troubleshooting knowledge across Hardware, Operating Systems and Applications
Self-motivated, keen to develop and desire to learn
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
GCSE maths and English grades A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalentPlease note: It would be preferable if you have a driving license and access to your own car or motorbike.

Experience / knowledge in telephony platforms
