Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Greater London.
In this role you will manage tenancies proactively, support vulnerable residents, and resolve complex housing and anti-social behaviour issues to help sustain safe, stable communities.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including legal cases, successions, and mutual exchanges
- Identify and support vulnerable residents, working closely with partner agencies
- Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour cases, keeping victims informed and records up to date
- Resolve estate-based issues such as boundary disputes, property damage, and resident concerns
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Proven experience in housing management, tenancy enforcement, or a similar front-line housing role
- Experience managing anti-social behaviour cases, including investigation, negotiation, and case recording
- Experience working with vulnerable residents and external partner agencies
- Experience preparing legal documentation and attending or presenting cases at court
What's on offer:
Salary: £142 per day
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 4-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
