Job Summary

JC is recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager in Aberdeen to lead corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client portfolio. This role is ideal for a CA- or CTA-qualified tax professional with experience in corporate tax compliance, advisory, and planning.

You will manage complex corporate tax engagements, provide high-level technical advice, and mentor junior staff while building trusted client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise corporate or personal tax computations for submission to HMRC
• Plan and manage compliance work through to submission of tax returns
• Coordinate tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances, group relief, and other claims
• Review complex tax returns and computations to ensure accuracy
• Provide technical and tax planning advice to clients, liaising with managers and partners
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate tax and financial reporting requirements
• Monitor tax compliance using tax administration software, ensuring internal controls and quality procedures are met
• Liaise with Audit, Accounting, and client service teams to provide a coordinated service
• Support tax advisory and planning projects for client portfolios and ad-hoc assignments

About You

• CA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with corporate tax experience
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
• Excellent communication and client relationship management
• Proactive, commercially aware, and detail-oriented
• Right to work in the UK permanently (no visa sponsorship available)
