A leading main civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery across a long-term highways framework in the Liverpool area.

This is a permanent role offering stability, local work, and responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple highways schemes within a secured framework pipeline.

The Role

Reporting into the Senior Management team, you will take full responsibility for the commercial, technical and operational delivery of highways projects typically valued between £5m - £50m, including:

Overall project leadership from pre-construction through to completion

Managing Site Management, Engineers and subcontractors

*

Programming, planning and resourcing works

*

Overseeing HSEQ compliance across all sites

*

Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement

*

Working closely with commercial teams to manage cost and change

*

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

Project Scope

Highways & infrastructure works

*

Drainage (deep & shallow)

*

Kerbing, surfacing & reinstatement

*

Live carriageway and urban environments

About You

*

Proven experience working as a Project Manager on highways or civil engineering schemes

*

Strong background delivering drainage, kerbing and surfacing works

*

Experience managing multiple workstreams and site teams

*

Commercially and contractually aware

*

Confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills
