Pastoral Support Assistant - Dorset

Prospero Teaching is looking for a compassionate and confident Pastoral Support Assistant to join a Dorset school on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on supporting young people's wellbeing and helping them overcome emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.

Role Highlights:

• One-to-one pastoral support in class
• Helping students manage challenges and improve wellbeing
• Building positive relationships and encouraging engagement
• Supporting the wider school team

What You Need:

• Minimum 1 years' experience with children/young people (UK)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willing to complete)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two recent child-related references
