The Role - AccountantThis is a varied and hands-on accounting role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of finance and being part of a collaborative team. You’ll be responsible for key financial tasks for one of the group’s largest subsidiaries, with the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and internal projects.Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Producing the P&L for a £250m+ turnover subsidiary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns and quarter-end reporting
• Financial analysis and reporting
• Supporting internal departments with financial guidance
• Involvement in system improvements and ad hoc projects

• Newly Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant or QBE (or qualified for a while)
• Someone who enjoys producing a full set of accounts and working in a structured environment
• A team player with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with Excel
