Linq Healthcare are currently in partnership with a private organisation based in Suffolk who are actively looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. The organisation are offering the successful candidate an excellent competitive salary along with some fantastic additional benefits.

Duties will include:

  • The post holder will be expected to manage a caseload of clients with brain injury and in conjunction with other members of the multi professional Therapy Team, form comprehensive assessment of need and develop goal focused Occupational Therapy rehabilitation intervention plans. The post holder will be expected to provide direct Occupational Therapy intervention, as well as advice on issues related to Occupational Therapy, such as activities of daily living, manual handling, equipment and meaningful activity.
  • The successful applicant should have previous experience of working with people with neurological conditions is essential, specific brain injury rehabilitation would be an advantage. HCPC registration is essential.
  • The post will involve working as part of the Occupational Therapist service covering the rehabilitation services based at All Hallows, Suffolk.
  • Taking a "hands on" approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills. You must have excellent organisational and time management skills.

Applicants will have:

  • You must have a degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience in working with mental Health Needs
  • Have a licence and access to own transport.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
