Management Accountant | Harrogate | Manufacturing | £45,000 - £55,000We are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a hands-on role where you will own the preparation of management accounts, factory reporting, variance analysis, and play a key part in budgeting and forecasting.Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage invoice factoring facility
• Conduct variance analysis & investigate discrepancies
• Process weekly and monthly payroll
• Deliver daily, weekly & monthly management reporting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations & prepare supporting schedules
• Maintain and update fixed asset register
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Support the Finance Director with year-end statutory accounts & R&D submissions
• Produce KPI reporting and cash flow forecasting
• Assist with budgeting & forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls & company policies
• Provide cover for Accounts Assistant duties when required (Sales Ledger, AP, Credit Control)
• Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• CIMA / ACCA Qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (highly desirable)
• Strong track record of working to tight and recurring deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formula-driven reports)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Proven leadership and team management ability
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, confidential approach
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant or Senior Accountant preferred
• Strong organisational and project management skills – a true self-starter
