Main purpose of the role/Key objectives
The Architectural Technician will play a critical role in our end-to-end design and build company. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our architects and construction teams to produce high-quality designs and technical drawings that meet the needs of our clients.
* Creating accurate technical drawings and detailed plans for construction projects.
* Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements and standards.
* Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
* Providing technical support to construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Accountabilities
* Collaborate with architects to produce technical drawings and plans for construction projects.
* Develop and maintain technical drawings and design standards.
* Work closely with construction teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements and standards.
* Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and resolve any technical issues that arise.
* Maintain accurate project documentation.
Roles and responsibilities
* [Develop technical drawings and plans for construction projects, including detailed elevations, sections, and specifications.
* Create and maintain design standards and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements and standards.
* Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and resolve any technical issues that arise.
* Provide technical support to construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.
* Maintain accurate project documentation.
Financial Authority
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
* Certification from a recognized professional association is an asset.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software is required.
* Experience with construction and building codes is an asset.
* Experience working in a design and build environment is preferred.
