Pay: £100 to £110 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Location: Newport, South Wales
Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm
A welcoming and supportive Welsh-medium primary school in Newport is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team.
We are seeking a fluent Welsh speaker who is passionate about supporting children's learning through the medium of Welsh, with a particular focus on children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
The ideal candidate will have:
✅ Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)
✅ Previous experience supporting children with ALN
✅ A nurturing and proactive approach
✅ The ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
✅ A genuine passion for helping children thrive in a Welsh-medium environment
